Our client is an asset manager licensed by the SFC to hold client assets. The group holds substantial investments across numerous asset classes, while specializing in alternative investments such as in private equity and hedge funds. The group is building out its offering to serve a select number of family offices, UHNWs and/or corporate investors. To support this effort the group is searching for a Client Relationship Manager.

You will source, on-board and manage relationships with clients such as family offices, UHNWs, corporate investors and other investor types. You will proactively serve as the bridge between clients and the firm’s investment team and resources, keeping clients updated as it relates to relevant investment services and products available, educating them about investment options and potential risks.

You will be well-informed of market conditions and carry out research to determine good opportunities to meet revenue goals. You will also closely monitor the performance of client accounts, and ensure timely and effective communication with clients.

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in the areas that could include private banking, external asset management, multi-family offices, or other related businesses
  • Possess some existing client relationships and/or be able to successfully establish effective communication lines with them; able to further source and develop relationships in the space
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Exhibit skills and characteristics conducive to building trust and long-term relationships
  • Able to effectively communicate with the investment and operations teams to deliver valuable information and services to client base
  • Strong comprehension of investment products across asset classes, along with the capability of learning new product offerings
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • A sound knowledge of the local market
  • An interest in joining a growing division of an established investment company with substantial asset base
  • Ability to develop short and long term strategic plans with the aim of on-boarding a high quality client base
