About the job

You will oversee the private bank’s daily business operations and administration which will include compiling the company financial reports, implementing business strategies and optimising the organisation’s operational capabilities.

You will provide management, leadership and vision to ensure the organisation meets its short-term and long-term objectives. You will create enduring policies and a company culture that strengthens operational efficiency and generates revenue.

You will oversee the daily business and administrative operations and improve operating procedures for optimal efficiency. You will assess and enhance the efficiency of internal and external operational processes and will lead and motivate staff to achieve sales and organisational objectives.

You will oversee the recruitment process to attract the best candidates and reduce employee turnover by mentoring and inspiring employees to key into the vision of management, and establishing policies that improve and promote company vision and culture. You will evaluate the company performance and recommend strategies to improve results. You will also collaborate with the management and other stakeholders to raise capital and carry out other business-expanding strategies.

Pre-requisites:

  • Tertiary educated
  • Proven experience in a senior executive role within a private banking setup
  • Possess in-depth understanding of the industry and the workings of different departments, including finance, operations, compliance/ risk management and human resources
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Strategic planning and business development skills
  • Experience working with regulators and well versed with compliance regulations and guidelines
