You will perform financial/ portfolio/ attribution analysis.

You will conduct broad mandate level and specific account attribution and contribution analysis, on regular and ad hoc basis. You will establish and refine attribution reporting system, especially for direct securities equity and bond mandates. You will also conduct regular and ad hoc data manipulation and screening and downloads from Bloomberg or other sources, especially relating to equities. You will document the basis for investments, mandates, and portfolio strategies.

You will prepare and update Portfolio Management (PM) marketing materials, which include monthly updates of various standard PM presentations; regular updates and communication of PM strategy and trades; ad hoc mandate update presentations for internal and client use; and specific/ individual client proposal/ review/ update presentations.

You will assist with benchmark and GIPS related projects and assist with portfolio managers on special/ custom mandates. The unique and customized mandates need some additional attention, especially with regards to position sizing and beginning the trade process, and you will monitor custom mandates to ensure client objectives are met. There will be opportunity to observe the Investment Committee (as a non-voting member) and handle ad hoc projects.

You will listen to and provide views on the various investments and asset classes; you will potentially back up for trade inputs/ order execution tasks; and have the potential for future switch into a Junior Portfolio Manager role, depending on experience and progression.
