About the job
You will coordinate and implement compliance initiatives, providing compliance advisory support in Singapore, as well as the region where required.
You will support and assist the Regional Head of Compliance in managing and leading a small team on compliance matters. You will assist in reviewing, formulating and implementing compliance policies and procedures, where necessary. You will develop and implement a monitoring and surveillance framework/ program that is tailored for the branch’s activities. You will provide advisory support and will perform a Business Partner role to the business lines and the Senior Management in overseeing and providing support to the team on transaction filtering matters, transaction monitoring/ surveillance, approval of new client onboarding requests and other AML/KYC related matters. You will assist in providing oversight support to the region, where required.
- Degree holder
- At least 5 – 10 years’ of relevant work experience in Corporate Banking
- Savvy with IT tools
- Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures in banking
- Highly analytical with strong attention to details
