About the job

You will assist the CEO of Singapore branch in the day-to-day running of the business.

You will organise travels and prepare travel documents for the CEO. You will plan and organise luncheon and dinner events, as well as draft email correspondence when needed. You will coordinate the communication papers and manage filing and the office systems. You will review memos and reports requiring the CEO’s signatory.

You will assist and advise colleagues on work delegated during the CEO’s absence and will handle private and confidential documents and matters with strictest confidentiality and respect. You will handle all travel and corporate credit card expense claims for the CEO, as well as review invoices received for the management’s approval before submitting to accounts.

You will work closely with the colleagues in the HQ and perform other ad-hoc duties, as assigned and when necessary.

Pre-requisites:

  • At least 5 – 6 years of personal assistant experience in a banking environment
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work in a team
  • Positive work attitude, fine conduct and highly service oriented
  • Forward-looking and collaborative within the team and across the bank
  • Inculcate and maintain a winning culture within own sphere of responsibility and influence
  • Maintain the highest standard of ethics and compliance at all times
  • Skilled in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English and Mandarin; this role requires liaising with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
