About the job
You will develop new business, contribute and deliver strategies at the Representative Office, as and when they are implemented by the Bank.
You will identify target prospects, as well as the appropriate products and services according to the bank’s strategies. You will develop the department’s strategies in Corporate Finance (large local corporates and real-estate activities) and in other departments/ products of the bank. You will maintain sound and meaningful business relationships with various counterparties to optimize business opportunities, and will follow up with business leads, to evaluate business quality and obtain the bank’s approval in building business relationships.
This will include the preparation of new credit applications, which involves the analysis of the risk and you will follow up with the Regional and Head Office’s relevant departments for credit approval. You will keep abreast of industry developments and contribute ideas to the bank’s management in order to identify new business opportunities and risks in the existing portfolio. You will also cooperate with other colleagues in other functional roles such as Operations, Credit Administration, Credit Risk, etc. and will optimize the use of the available Analyst for the bank’s business and will assist to develop the skill sets of the Analysts.
Pre-requisites:
- Degree holder
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
- Capable of covering large local corporates and real estate companies in Australia
- Knowledgeable about the local market and client needs
- Proficient in risk analysis and credit documentation
