About the job

You will assist in managing the overall balance sheet of the Singapore, Sydney and Hong Kong branch of the bank.

You will assist in ensuring the bank complies to all the relevant regulatory requirements and internal risk metrics. You will assist in reaching the profit targets of the group and will assist in continuing the streamlining of the bank’s liquidity management model.

You will comply with the Singapore Guide of Conduct and Market Practices for Treasury Activities produced by the Singapore Foreign Exchange Market Committee (SFEMC) – The blue book. You will comply with all rules set out by the local regulators from the relevant regions (i.e. MAS, HKMA, AMF, APRA, etc.). You will maintain a good understanding of banking regulations and requirements from the relevant regions and ensure all nostros are squared for all the currencies covered.

You will assist in monitoring the interest rate exposure of the bank and hedge risks using derivatives or vanilla treasury products. You will assist in the liquidity management of the bank, monitoring cash flows from o/n to up to 1 year. You will assist in managing the HQLA portfolio and explore opportunities in potential bonds, as well as assist in overseeing the bank’s positions to comply with the daily regulatory requirements.

Pre-requisites

  • University graduate
  • At least 3 – 8 years of relevant work experience with a financial institution
  • Possess technical knowledge relating to the funding space and equipped with up-to-date knowledge on new regulatory developments
  • Possess the FMRP and CMFAS Module 1A & 1B certificates
  • Strong programming skills/ knowledge: VBA, SQL, Python
  • Strong MS Excel skills
