About the job

This role is a great opportunity to onboard the IT banking domain, with a fundamental learning of what the Information System of an investment bank is. It provides step by step learning, starting from Level 1 support, moving to level 2 and finally being part of the continuous improvement and evolution of new applications and process optimization.

You will provide technical expertise on Murex applications (v2 and v3). You will optimize end of day batch, improve STP performance and manage Murex services. You will process and issue daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality of risk chain in which the activity is usually more intense on monthly run. You will be involved in Incidents and Requests management (by working with business users and other IT teams).

In Change management, you will be involved in production deployment and validation, software development life cycle process, automate tests, performance analysis and production releases on weekend. You will also be involved in ITRS Geneos monitoring implementation and will solve recurrent incidents. You will collaborate with build team to assess the priority of problems and follow-up the resolution, even contributing to the definition of long term solutions.

  • Master’s degree in relevant specialties (IT, Finance)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; at least 3 years’ experience in MUREX
  • Familiar with Murex Datamart – Workflow – RTBS – architecture – Market Risk module; EOD batch; Control M; ITRS Geneos; SQL; UNIX; CI/CD tools
  • Possess general banking and finance understanding and knowledge
  • Understanding of trade life cycle, financial products (BONDS, CDS, etc.)
  • Exposure to Capital Market FO/BO system (E.g. Summit, Kondor+, Murex, etc.)
  • Willing to work in shift for ASIA or EMEA region : (9am – 6:30pm SGT) (3pm – midnight SGT). On-call rotation with team mates to cover night and weekend support
