About the job

You will work in the bank’s Finance department, specifically in the area of MAS regulatory reporting covering the whole suite of MAS reports from MAS 610, 649 LCR and the various daily, quarterly and monthly regulatory reports.

You will review all the bank’s MAS reports and work with the existing Finance personnel to improve the reports, where necessary, in terms of accuracy, completeness and compliance with every MAS requirement. You will suggest improvements to ensure robustness and future compliance with regulations, as well as design and modify the existing processes so that those objectives can be achieved. You will assist in the current MAS 610 project implementation and any other regulatory reporting improvement projects. You will also assist in modifying the current reporting processes to accommodate the upcoming removal of ACU:DBU divide. You will document the progress of review, suggestions and remediation to produce a final overview report at the end of the contract period.

You will be provided on-the-job training on the bank’s products, operations and systems. You are expected to be flexible in terms of work scope and willing to “get your hands dirty”.

  • Finance and/ or accounting qualified with a university degree
  • 10 – 20 years of work experience in Singapore’s banking industry; wholesale banking experience is preferred
  • Deep experience in MAS reporting both as a preparer and a reviewer, with minimum 10 years of relevant experience is strongly preferred across all reports relevant to a wholesale bank
  • Strong interpersonal skills
