As a run specialist, you will be part of an international team focused on running and supporting the bank’s Treasury and ALM Platform developed around Kondor Plus, a software package from Finastra, and in house’s solutions.

You will define and implement in coordination with the build team the needed application monitoring, and will supervise and monitor daily and monthly chains and handle user request by working closely with project, infrastructure and production teams. You will support overnight batches which take place during the Singapore Morning and early afternoon time to ensure that problems are swiftly analyzed and resolved to minimize down-time. You will process and issue daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality of risk chain in which the activity is usually more intense on monthly run.

You will provide level 1 and 2 application support to the business users (E.g. trader, risk manager, market risk monitoring operator, back-office and middle-office analyst, market data administrator, etc.). You will analyze and manage incidents/ problems/ requests coming, and will prepare and maintain the knowledge base for each of the application in the scope of the team in coordination with the build team and the ops team. You will collaborate with the build team to assess the priority of the problem and follow-up the resolution, even contributing to the definition of long term solution. You will provide non-functional requirements to the build team to implement monitoring as code whenever available.

You will plan the team shifts, on-call and other scheduled activities, as well as coordinate and organize Disaster Recovery activities. You will schedule and monitor the release deliveries with their respective pre-and post-tasks. The Support analyst should have a pro-active mindset in security, incident preventive measures, productivity and global improvement of the quality of service. You should have a strong appetite in the capital market functional business.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Master’s degree in the relevant specialities; possess ITIL certification
  • General banking and finance understanding and knowledge
  • Understanding of trade life cycle, financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRD, etc.)
  • Exposure to Capital Market FO/BO system (E.g. Kondor+, Summit, Murex, etc.) and ideally Kondor+
  • Experience in managing incidents and coordinating with the various stakeholders
  • Experience in leading and organizing a support team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (E.g. Excel / PowerPoint), incident management (E.g. Service Now) and other reporting tools
  • Strong analytical or troubleshooting skills
  • Strong knowledge in Linux/ Unix, Database (E.g. Sybase), PL/SQL, Middleware (E.g. MQ Series), File Transfer (E.g. CFT) and batch/Job Scheduling (Control-M)
  • Knowledge of monitoring solution (E.g. ITRS Geneos, Splunk, Elastic)
  • Proficient in software development life cycle and Devops concepts
  • Autonomy to include implicit deliverables in assignment based on best practices
