About the job

You will be responsible for executing credit risk policies, procedures and processes to enable successful management of credit risks for the organisation.

You will support the risk rating and limit setting process through credit portfolio, credit application and credit transaction reviews. You will be responsible for providing independent credit opinions on new loan proposals and any subsequent variation requests. You will assess and monitor risks of the assigned loan portfolio by way of news monitoring, periodic reviews and internal ratings.

Having strong exposure to and understanding of credit analysis methodologies and credit risk management regulations, you are able to work independently with minimum supervision. You will develop and maintain credit risk policies, conduct credit risk assessment and management activities, and manage the credit portfolios within credit risk appetite and limits. You will review and rate counterparty risk applications as well as monitor and report on credit risk portfolios.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master in Finance, Computer Science, Business, Accountancy or Engineering
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong communicator and influencer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and an eye for detail
  • Good team player with strong financial analysis and writing skills
  • Sound understanding of MAS banking regulations
  • Familiar with ECL methodology and calculation, as well as knowledge of IFRS 9
  • Good market and commercial acumen
